Professor Elizabeth MacKinlay | Dementia & Faith

Dementia will touch almost everyone at some stage of their life.

Ministering to those with dementia - and to their carers -  is a task the church community must engage in.

As followers of Christ, we are called to care for, pastor and share Jesus’ love with every person, in every circumstance of life.

A forum in Sydney this February brings together world experts and leading practitioners, to explore and better understand the challenges of dementia from a firmly Christian perspective.

Professor Elizabeth MacKinlay is one of the speakers at the Dementia and Faith Symposium. We spoke about her own experiences with dementia and what impact she believes this disease has upon people's faith.
